Problems We Hear Every Week
These come up on nearly every call. If one of them sounds like your department, we can quote it today.
Our kit was discontinued
Bayer discontinued SQK 65VS, CTP-200-FLS, 150-FT-Q and 200-FT-Q. Your injector still works. The supply chain behind it is closing.
The disposables budget keeps climbing
OEM kits run roughly $19 to $49 each. A CT doing 200 contrast studies a month is spending thousands every month on disposables.
Our supplier has never seen our injector
Catalog suppliers ship a box. When the injector faults you start over with a second vendor who does not know what you run.
I cannot get a service PO approved
Supplies clear purchasing easily. Service goes to a different approver and a different budget. We can quote the PM inside the supply order.
The injector says Invalid Syringe
It will not arm because it cannot confirm what is loaded. Sometimes that is the kit, sometimes the syringe well or the detection hardware. We can tell the difference.
More Of What We Get Called About
Less urgent than a dead injector, and more expensive over a year.
Are we running the right tubing?
Power injectors run at 300 to 325 psi. Conventional IV tubing is rated for 10 to 15. That gap has sprayed contrast on patients and staff.
Tubing blocks or leaks over time
Residual contrast restricts the line and connections loosen with use. It shows up as a pressure alarm or an inconsistent flow rate.
We ran out
A stockout costs you a day of contrast studies and a list of patients to reschedule, not a box of syringes. We set up scheduled releases.
Nobody will touch our injector
Once a platform goes end of life the OEM stops service, parts and consumables. Accreditation still expects the maintenance records.
We were told to replace a working unit
End of life is a support decision, not a safety recall. Plenty of these systems have years left in them.
How Ordering Works
Send us three things
Your injector model, the part number on your current syringe box, and what you pay per case today.
We quote against it
We confirm the kit is right for your exact model before anything ships. If we cannot beat what you have, we will tell you.
Try one first
We send a kit so you can run it in your own injector. Nobody should buy fifty of anything on a datasheet.
We ship on your PO
Purchase orders accepted, Net 30 on approved credit. Blanket POs with scheduled releases are welcome.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, and we would rather you did. Tell us your injector model and we will send a kit so you can confirm fit and performance on your own equipment first. Nobody should commit to fifty of anything on a datasheet.
Every kit has a published price, and shipping is included in the continental US. See CT injector syringes and MRI injector syringes. Most kits come 50 to a box (BX). The Stellant dual, EmpowerCTA dual and OptiVantage dual kits come 20 to a box. The count is on every product page.
Every case ships from the manufacturer's US warehouse in New Jersey. We order direct from the manufacturer against your order, so availability is a lead time question rather than a stock one. A normal order ships in 1 to 2 business days.
For a standing order or several sites, tell us roughly how many you use a month and whether that is one facility or all of them. We will confirm dates with the manufacturer and what we will hold ready for you.
Power injectors operate around 300 to 325 psi. Conventional IV tubing is rated for roughly 10 to 15. The Pennsylvania Patient Safety Authority documented 29 reports of IV tubing rupturing during contrast injection, alongside 158 similar reports in the FDA database, with outcomes including patients splashed in the eyes with contrast and staff sprayed with blood. Every kit we supply ships with the pressure-rated connector tubing its injector needs.
Yes. The kits we supply hold their own FDA 510(k) clearance and are manufactured under ISO 13485. We will give you the clearance number and the manufacturer before you order.
Tell us which you need. We can supply compatible FDA-cleared kits at a significant saving, and some departments are required by policy to stay on OEM. Either way we confirm the kit is right for your exact model and software version before anything ships.
Send us the number off the box, or a photo of the injector head, and we will identify the correct kit. We cross reference Mallinckrodt OptiVantage, CT 9000 and CT 9000 ADV, Optistar Elite and LE, Angiomat 6000 and Illumena, Bracco EmpowerCT, EmpowerCTA and EmpowerMR, Medrad Envision, Vistron and MCT Plus, and Mark V, Mark V ProVis and Mark 7.
A two-syringe 200 mL kit with 60 inch T-connector tubing and two check valves, cross referencing SDS-CTP-SPK, SDS-CTP-QFT or SDS-CTP-SCS. Normally 20 kits per case.
A 65 mL and 115 mL pair with 96 inch coiled tubing and two spikes, cross referencing SSQK 65/115VS. Normally 50 kits per case.
Typically several years from manufacture, sealed and stored normally. That is long enough that most departments can order on a quarterly release schedule without any expiry risk, which is usually easier for purchasing than ordering every month.
Yes, including blanket POs with scheduled releases. Net 30 on approved credit, and a credit application takes a few minutes. A blanket PO is usually the easiest thing for a purchasing department to approve, because it is one approval instead of one per order.
Yes, on Stellant and Spectris Solaris platforms, including systems the OEM no longer supports. Because we service the injector as well as supply it, we can confirm a kit is right for your model before it ships rather than after it does not seat, and we can quote maintenance on the same purchase order as the supplies.
No, and you do not need our service to buy syringes. They work better together, but neither depends on the other.
Send us your part number and we will quote it
