We Buy

We Buy Used Contrast Injectors

Decommissioning a CT or MRI room, replacing an injector, or clearing equipment you no longer run. We buy Medrad, Bracco and Bayer contrast injectors, working or not.

We are not brokers listing your machine and waiting. We service these units and we sell them refurbished, so we are buying to use rather than to flip.

What We Buy

Medrad Stellant, all configurations

Stellant D and Sx, single and dual syringe. Often quoted to us simply as a Stellant CT injector, which is the same family. Working, or not working and honest about it.

Medrad Spectris, Solaris and Solaris EP

The MRI line, including legacy Spectris. Being discontinued does not mean worthless. There are rooms still running them and kits still made for them.

Bracco EmpowerCT and EmpowerCTA

Including EmpowerCTA+. Tell us the REF on the syringe box if you are not sure which you have.

Medrad Mark V, Mark V ProVis and Mark 7 Arterion

The angiographic line. Cath lab decommissions are where most of these come from.

Injectors that do not work

We service these machines, so a fault that makes a unit unsellable to a broker is often just a repair to us. Do not scrap it before you ask.

Heads, consoles and accessories on their own

Pedestals, hand switches, cables, spare heads. Partial systems have value because they keep someone else's running.

What Actually Sets the Value

If you send these six things up front, you get a real number instead of a range.

Generation and configuration

The single biggest factor. A Solaris EP and a legacy Spectris are not close in value, and dual syringe is worth more than single.

Hours on the head

The head does the work and wears first. If you can pull the hours, do it before you ask for a number, because it changes the number.

What comes with it

Pedestal, console, cables, hand switch, adapters. A complete system is worth materially more than a bare head, and buyers ask.

Service history

Documented PM and calibration raises value because it lowers the next owner's risk. If you have the reports, send them.

Whether consumables are still made for it

A platform with no kits available has scrap value and nothing more. Most Bayer and Bracco platforms are still covered, which is why they still trade.

How it is coming out

De-installed carefully and palletised is worth more than one that was cut loose in a hurry. Tell us the timeline and we will tell you what is realistic.

How It Works

1

Send us what you have

Generation and configuration, hours if you can pull them, photos of the head and console, and a list of accessories. Service reports if you have them.

2

We give you a number

A real one, against what the unit is actually worth to us. If it is not worth much, we will say so rather than open a negotiation.

3

We arrange collection

Tell us the site and the timeline. An injector is not a fixed magnet, so this is usually simpler than people expect.

4

Paperwork, if you need it

Purchase orders, asset disposal records, documentation of what left the building. Normal for a hospital and we deal with it.

Frequently Asked Questions

We will not guess at it from a model name. Send the generation, the hours if you can get them, photos of the head and console, and a list of what comes with it. We come back with a real number rather than a range designed to get a phone call.

Often yes. We service these machines, so a fault that makes a unit unsellable to a broker is frequently just a repair to us. Ask before you scrap it.

Yes, and that is usually the cleanest way to do it. See used Stellant and used Spectris for what we can put in its place.

Tell us the site and the timeline and we will tell you what we can do. A contrast injector is not a fixed magnet, so this is usually straightforward.

Understood, and normal. Purchase orders, asset disposal paperwork and documentation of what left the building are all things we deal with. Call 615-479-5572.

That is a separate conversation with different logistics. See we buy used medical imaging equipment.

Say so. Sometimes the answer is that it is worth less than the effort, and we will tell you that rather than string it out.

Replacing It, Not Just Getting Rid of It

If the injector is coming out because something else is going in, say so up front. It changes what we can do, and it is usually the better deal for you.

Trade instead of two transactions

We sell refurbished injectors as well as buy them, so the replacement and the trade can be one quote with one number. Used Stellant for CT and used Spectris and Solaris for MRI.

You do not have to buy from us to sell to us

The offer stands on its own. If you have already bought the replacement somewhere else, we still want the old unit and the number does not change because of it.

Who normally handles this in a hospital

Biomed and clinical engineering have the hours and the service history. Imaging leadership has the replacement timeline. Materials management or supply chain owns the disposal paperwork. Whichever of those you are, send what you have and we will work around the rest. Call 615-479-5572.

No obligation

Tell us what you have

Generation and configuration, hours if you can get them, what comes with it, and where it is. Photos of the head and console help more than anything else.
