Are we running the right tubing?
Power injectors run at 300 to 325 psi. Conventional IV tubing is rated for 10 to 15. That gap has sprayed contrast on patients and staff.
Tubing blocks or leaks over time
Residual contrast restricts the line and connections loosen with use. It shows up as a pressure alarm or an inconsistent flow rate.
We ran out
A stockout costs you a day of contrast studies and a list of patients to reschedule, not a box of syringes. We set up scheduled releases.
Nobody will touch our injector
Once a platform goes end of life the OEM stops service, parts and consumables. Accreditation still expects the maintenance records.
We were told to replace a working unit
End of life is a support decision, not a safety recall. Plenty of these systems have years left in them.

Power injectors operate around 300 to 325 psi. Conventional IV tubing is rated for roughly 10 to 15. The Pennsylvania Patient Safety Authority documented 29 reports of IV tubing rupturing during contrast injection, alongside 158 similar reports in the FDA database, with outcomes including patients splashed in the eyes with contrast and staff sprayed with blood. We supply properly rated coiled connecting tubing, Y-lines with check valves, transfer sets and 1200 psi braided line.
Yes. The kits we supply hold their own FDA 510(k) clearance and are manufactured under ISO 13485. We will give you the clearance number and the manufacturer before you order.

A 65 mL and 115 mL pair with 96 inch coiled tubing and two spikes, cross referencing SSQK 65/115VS. Normally 50 kits per case.
Typically several years from manufacture, sealed and stored normally. That is long enough that most departments can order on a quarterly release schedule without any expiry risk, which is usually easier for purchasing than ordering every month.
Yes, including blanket POs with scheduled releases. Net 30 on approved credit, and a credit application takes a few minutes. A blanket PO is usually the easiest thing for a purchasing department to approve, because it is one approval instead of one per order.
Yes, on Stellant, Spectris and Spectris Solaris platforms, including systems the OEM no longer supports. Because we service the injector as well as supply it, we can confirm a kit is right for your model before it ships rather than after it does not seat, and we can quote maintenance on the same purchase order as the supplies.
No, and you do not need our service to buy syringes. They work better together, but neither depends on the other.
