Injector will not power on
The head never reaches the protocol screen, or the console hangs on startup. The room cannot run contrast until it is fixed.

Plunger loses sync
The ram position on screen disagrees with what is physically loaded. Risks a short delivery that reads as a bad study, not a bad injector.
Delivered volume is short
The system delivers less than programmed. Usually found at calibration verification, after a run of studies has already gone out.
Head to console drops out
The console loses the injector head intermittently. It passes a self test, then fails mid-patient, which makes it hard to chase.
Display and keys wearing out
