Refurbished Contrast Injectors, Installed and Serviced

Alongside service and consumables, we supply, refurbish and install contrast injectors. We also buy them.

What that actually means

We do not sell from a fixed list. You tell us the configuration, the scanner it is going next to and your timeline, and we match a unit to that requirement and tell you honestly what condition it is in before you commit to anything.

Every unit carries a 90-day parts warranty, parts and remote support, running from the date of installation. Equipment and installation are quoted as separate lines, so you can see what each one costs.

Most of these are replacements, not additions

Most injectors we put in go into a room that already has one. You do not have to treat the old unit and the new one as two separate problems. Tell us what you run now and what you want it to do, and we quote it as one number with the trade already taken off it.

The common upgrade is a single-syringe unit to a dual-syringe configuration: contrast and saline on one head, one setup per patient instead of two. That changes your syringe kit part numbers as well, so we quote the consumables alongside the machine rather than letting you find that out afterwards.

Why we are a different proposition from a broker

We service these machines. That matters in two directions.

When we sell you one, we are the people who will still be answering the phone about it in a year. The most expensive used injector anyone buys is the one nobody local will touch.

When we buy one, a fault that makes a unit unsellable to a broker is often just a repair to us. If you are about to scrap an injector because it does not work, ask us first.

The 2028 date, and what it does and does not mean

Bayer has published an end of life date of 12/31/2028 for the Stellant CT and the Spectris Solaris EP. That is an OEM support date. It is not the day the machines stop working.

What it does mean is that OEM service and parts wind down, and independent service plus third-party consumables become how these units keep running. That is the business we are in, and it is why a used Stellant bought today is a reasonable decision rather than a reckless one.

What we buy

Medrad Stellant in every configuration, Spectris, Spectris Solaris and Solaris EP, Bracco EmpowerCT and EmpowerCTA, and the Medrad Mark V, Mark V ProVis and Mark 7 Arterion angiographic line. Working, or not working and honest about it. Heads, consoles and accessories on their own, too.

If you are at a hospital, the process side is normal for us: purchase orders, asset disposal paperwork and documentation of what left the building. Biomed usually has the hours and the service history, imaging leadership has the replacement timeline, and supply chain owns the paperwork. Send us what you have and we will work around the rest.
